Family Learning Guide
The Family Learning Guide provides parents and guardians with an opportunity to work together with their children, using the Finding God Children's Book, to grow together in faith. Whether they are doing home catechesis with their kids or just seek to be more deeply involved in their children's faith formation, this supplemental program resource assists parents and guardians who wish to actively pass on the Catholic way of life and share their own faith and family faith traditions with their children.

Part One welcomes and orients parents to the program, discusses the experience of family faith formation, presents an overview of their child's faith development throughout grades one through six, and offers a step-by-step process for going through a session with a child.

Part Two helps parents or guardians work with their child and specific Finding God sessions, offering convenient overviews of all of the core sessions in the program, opening prayer services, and opening and closing family activities for each unit.

Part Three contains family activities to mark and celebrate liturgical seasons, saints days, and feasts of the Church. And Part Four contains additional resources for families, including a Family Learning Guide CD with songs, instrumental music, dramatized Scripture recordings, and recorded guided reflections from the Finding God program.

Speaking to today's Catholics, he addresses issues such as table fellowship and liturgical ritual, and then walks viewers through the order of the Mass, explaining how each segment calls for our "full, conscious, active participation" in the liturgy.
